Rincon Sapiência lança a imagem da realidade do orí compartilhado com três faces simultâneas. Na escultura de Rincon, a pirâmide é base histórica do fundamento preto africano que ergue, guarda e aflora. O topo da pirâmide comporta um pequeno jardim, gerando força em forma de sansevierias, espadas que são também símbolos de avanço e proteção. O orí é a ligação familiar, a inteligência e os desafios vividos por pessoas que passam sua sabedoria de geração em geração. Ao assumir três faces que compartilham o mesmo orí, Rincon inclui a imagem de ações necessárias em um movimento histórico que atravessa a noção ocidental de tempo e que assume na mesma pessoa – ou família – ações ao mesmo tempo divergentes e complementares: destruir, criar e preservar. Sapiência é MC, produtor e empresário. Em 2017, lançou Galanga Livre, seu álbum de estreia, que entrou para a lista dos 50 melhores álbuns da música brasileira de 2017 da Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Artes (APCA) e ganhou dois troféus do Superjúri no Prêmio Multishow daquele ano, quando também recebeu o título de Revelação do Ano. Foi eleito Artista do Ano pela APCA e melhor disco do ano pela revista Rolling Stone Brasil. Em 2018, o artista lançou o seu selo musical independente chamado MGoma. Em 2019, lançou “Mundo Manicongo: Dramas, Danças e Afroreps”, produzido e dirigido por ele.
Rincon Sapiência projects the image of the orí with three simultaneous faces. In Rincon’s sculpture, the pyramid is the historical basis of the Black African foundation which rises, preserves and blooms. The top of the pyramid presents a small garden, generating power in the form of sansevierias, swords which are also the symbol of advancement and protection. The orí is the family connection, the intelligence and the challenge faced by people who pass on their knowledge from generation to generation. Adopting three faces that share the same orí, Rincon includes the image of the necessary actions in a historical movement that runs through the Western notion of time and takes form in the same person – or family -, actions that are at the same time divergent and complementary: to destroy, to create, to preserve. Sapiência is an MC, producer and art entrepreneur. In 2017, he released Galanga Livre, his debut album, which made the list of the 50-best Brazilian music albums of 2017 of the Associação Paulista dos Críticos de Artes (APCA) and was awarded two prizes of the Superjúri at the Prêmio Multishow of the same year, when he also received the title of Revelação do Ano (Best New Artist). He was elected Artista do Ano (Artist of the Year) by APCA and best album of the year by Rolling Stone Brasil magazine. In 2018, the artist released his independent record label, called MGoma.
